Pastor Lavrenz attended Concordia Teachers College in Seward, NE. graduating from there in 1987 with a Bachelors Degree in History and  Biblical Languages.  He attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft.  Wayne, IN graduating there in 1991.  He was ordained in the Office of the Holy Ministry at St. John's In Hubbard, Iowa and received his first call to be Pastor of Zion Lutheran In Bolivar, MO and St. Andrew Lutheran in Stockton, MO.  Pastor Lavrenz has been pastor at Bethlehem since January 2003.
